- Attention NITROX divers. You must now have documentation available for WorkSafe BC to show that the compressor you are using is compatible for blending nitrox. Bauer 3 stage compressors are not. Check your manufacturers specifications before blending any nitrox.
- November 2009 - DiveSafe has finally received its accreditation with the DCBC. Please contact our office for details on how you can apply for your DCBC card.
- T2202A educational forms will be in the mail January 2010.

- CSA/DCBC Meetings - Halifax - September 12-15, 2009
- DiveSafe is very pleased to annouce that we are now members of IMCA - the International Marine Contractors Association and also IDSA - the International Diving Schools Association. If you don't already know what that means, give us a call. We're excited about the opportunities it may bring our graduates.
- Please ensure you have your original WORKSAFE BC commercial dive certification and your dive medicals on you at the job site. WORKSAFE BC is not accepting photocopies, unless they are notorized.
- DAN O2 Therapy is not accepted by WorkSafe BC as an authorized Oxygen therapy certificate.

- Note to all aquaculture divers - Be advised! WorkSafe BC is enforcing the requirement to use Surface Supply Dive equipment when diving under net pens and other overhead environments. Contact DIVESAFE for information on how to become compliant.
- All DIVESAFE graduates. DIVE Accident Management is included in the Occupational SCUBA Diver courses and the SURFACE SUPPLY DIVER Courses at no extra charge. WORKSAFE BC knows this. However, to make life easier for you and the WORKSAFE BC officer that shows up at the dive site, we are now issueing separate DIVE Accident Management cards. If you do not have one of these cards contact our office at info@divesafe.com and I can get one out to you. Make sure we have your current address. THanks Cathy
