  • 7/29/08  Please ensure you have your original copy of your WORKSAFE BC commercial dive cert. on you at the job site.  WORKSAFE BC is not accepting photocopies.
  • 5/19/08   DAN O2 Therapy is not accepted by WorkSafe BC as an authorized Oxygen therapy certificate.
  • 5/6/08      All DIVESAFE graduates. DIVE Accident Management is included in the Occupational SCUBA Diver courses and the SURFACE SUPPLY DIVER Courses.  WORKSAFE BC knows this. 
  • 5/6/08    We are issueing separate DIVE Accident Management cards, so expect them in the mail by the end of May.  Email us with updated addresses if you have moved.. 
  • 5/5/08      Note to all aquaculture divers - Be advised! WorkSafe BC is enforcing the requirement to use Surface Supply Dive equipment when diving under net pens and other overhead environments.   Contact DIVESAFE for information on how to become compliant.

  • 11/15/07  DiveSafe regrets the recent passing of Richard (Dick) Shaw, the Blasting and Diving Coordinator in Certification Services for WorkSafe B.C. He will be sorely missed.
